Pagosa Adventure Rentals is a family owned and operated ATV / UTV rental business based in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Our family moved here from Naples, Florida in 2005 and have called it home ever since.
About Our Family
Being habitual entrepreneurs, our goal when starting this business was to work beside our kids and give them the opportunity to learn how a business operates. Our daughter Mackenzie and son Max started helping here at Pagosa 10 years ago. They’re grown now, and about seven years ago they started their own operation in Creede, Colorado. They own Creede Adventure Rentals, which is now our family’s busiest location.
Today Mike runs Pagosa himself and splits his time between our two Pagosa locations, so give him a call and he’ll help you work out where and when to meet. What We Strive For
Our goal is to provide quality off road vehicles at a fair price, along with the trail and riding knowledge we have built exploring the topography and terrain of Southwest Colorado. We use that knowledge to help outfit your self-guided adventure.
The Beauty of Pagosa Springs
Our rentals are seasonal. Check our booking calendar for available dates, or call us to plan your visit. You could ride every day of the season and still not see all of the nearly 4 million acres of national forest that surround us. Pagosa Springs also has an inner tubing river right through the middle of town, three microbreweries and “the world’s deepest hot springs”, all good ways to end the day’s adventure. If you are visiting in the fall, you have the fall foliage and elk and mule deer hunting. Our ATV and UTV rentals make it easier getting up and down the mountain to hunting grounds.
Why Choose Our ATV / UTV Adventures?
We have 2 Pagosa Springs locations for trail access. Our in-town trailer yard on Goldmine Drive is where you collect a machine with a trailer, open 1:00–5:00 pm. We chose our location to allow you
more time riding the trails, and less time towing to the trail head. Our “ride out” location is on private property a short 15 minute drive west of town, open 8:30 am–noon, seven days a week. This location borders the largest trail system in the county. Our parking lot is literally 50 yards from the San Juan National Forest boundary. We send the ride-out address after we receive your reservation, so please call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.
Early Pick Up
You can pick up your rental at our in-town yard the afternoon before your reservation starts at no extra charge, typically between 4:00 and 5:00 pm, depending on when the machine returns from the previous renter and confirmation with Mike. Picking up the night before gives you time to prepare before your rental day. You can get to the trailhead the night before if you are camping, prep the machine for your next-day adventure, or take in a night ride. The next morning you can depart as early as you like, without waiting in the check-out line to do paperwork.

We want to make sure that you have a great time on the trails and back roads, which is only possible if we have done everything we can to make sure that your excursion is safe, comfortable, and secure.
